Get Involved — Volunteer! Get a head start on volunteering for the 2023-24 school year by becoming VIRTUS-compliant!

VIRTUS Training for Volunteering

Prior to volunteering at the school, all volunteers must undergo VIRTUS-training and complete the steps to becoming fully VIRTUS-certified and compliant. Please first read the official VIRTUS Welcome Letter from ST. MARK Catholic Church in order to get the process started.

STEPS TO BECOMING FULLY VIRTUS-COMPLIANT:

1. Read ST. MARK Catholic Church Welcome Letter.

2. Complete the official Background Check application from the Office for the Protection of Children and 3.Young People of the Arlington Diocese. This process can take some time so please ensure you complete this step first.

4. Complete the 4-hour VIRTUS-training seminar for the Arlington Diocese via these instructions.
